Every Space a Learning Space
At Pathlight, every space is a learning space. Thoughtfully designed to extend learning beyond the classroom, here are some key spaces where students learn, grow, and build essential skills for life.

More Than a Classroom
Our small class sizes and structured group learning environment are designed with autism-friendly features to facilitate learning. Key features include physical and visual structures and work systems.
Beyond academic skills, we also focus on building strong work habits and self-regulation skills, such as emotional management, on-task focus, and appropriate behaviour.

More Than an IT Lab
Our fully equipped computer labs are where students build digital skills as part of our holistic curriculum.
Our comprehensive IT roadmap aims to equip our students with future-ready skills and empower them to go beyond being end users. Through hands-on learning, students learn to use digital tools meaningfully in school and beyond.

More Than a Café
Our café is more than just a place for recess – it is an authentic setting for students to practise social and communication skills, alongside money handling.
It is also a work site for older students to be coached in various food & beverage roles. The café has a variety of offerings such as noodles, burgers and sandwiches.

More Than a Library
Our library is where our students develop the joy of reading – a pivotal tool for life-long learning and a meaningful leisure skill for individuals on the autism spectrum.
It is also an authentic space for students to practise essential library etiquette.
The library at Pathlight School (Ang Mo Kio Campus 1) was donated by the late Mr Khoo Teck Puat. Since opening to the public as a resource library in 2010, it has grown to house almost 6,000 titles, including fiction, non-fiction, reference books in autism, periodicals, and multimedia resources.
Other Facilities
In addition to our featured learning spaces, the school is equipped with a range of other facilities to support holistic learning. These include science labs, gardens, music and art rooms, food & nutrition studio, design & technology room, gym, bake shop, and futsal field.
Social Enterprises by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore)
The school also houses two social enterprises run by our parent charity, Autism Resource Centre (Singapore).

The Art Faculty (TAF)
The Art Faculty empowers artists on the autism spectrum by showcasing their unique talents through original artworks and quality, functional products.
TAF represents artists from Pathlight School’s award-winning Artist Development Programme. Each sale earns the artist royalties, reinforcing the value of work and promoting financial independence.
