The National Day Parade (NDP) National Education (NE) Show returned in July after a break of two years. Our Primary 5 students were thrilled to attend the NE Show on Saturday, 9 July 2022. Themed “Stronger Together, Majulah!”, it serves as a rallying call for Singaporeans as we emerge from the COVID-19 crisis.

During the NE show, students sang along to our National Day theme song favourites, did the Marina Wave, and enjoyed skydiving stunts by the iconic Red Lions in the pre-parade segment. The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) also showcased the Total Defence Display which displayed their skills and tenacity in keeping our country safe. The NE show concluded with a series of performances and a captivating fireworks display.

Through this experience, our students not only made enjoyable memories with one another but also learnt the significance of National Day. They also reflected upon the challenges Singaporeans faced amidst the COVID-19 crisis and celebrated the nation’s achievements in overcoming hardships. Students left the NE show feeling inspired to pursue their dreams and aspirations in the face of challenges!
