ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Formalised in 2014, the Dance Talent Development Programme (DTDP) is one of Pathlight’s signature talent programmes. 

The DTDP Junior and Youth programmes aim to uncover and maximise the potential of primary and secondary school students who demonstrate an aptitude and passion for dance. Students are specially selected through a stringent audition process.

DTDP cultivates in students a deeper appreciation for the art form, builds their confidence in performing to live audiences and instils in them the values of discipline and commitment required to hone their craft. 

Under DTDP, students are trained by professional dance trainers and given opportunities to develop and realise their potential to the fullest, such as going on to attain dance certifications. Students are also given platforms to perform and showcase their talent at competitions and events.
