In light of the suspension of external activities due to the COVID-19 situation, Pathlight leveraged on technology and moved industry visits online. These virtual industry sharing sessions are part of the School’s transition planning programme to help Pathlighters make informed post-Pathlight education and career choices.

On Tuesday, 4 August 2020, Secondary 3 students attended virtual industry sharing sessions by Garuda Robotics and Sodexo Singapore. Students gained a better understanding of the robotics and food services/integrated facilities management industries and current industry practices as well as the different job roles and requirements. They also had the opportunity to witness some of the drone pilots and drone engineers in action through video.

All in all, students enjoyed the virtual sharing sessions and showed that distance does not stop them from learning!
