On Friday, 3 August 2018, 25 students from Pathlight Running Club took part in the Inclusive Sports Festival at the OCBC Arena and Aquatic Centre. Aimed at raising awareness of the different para-sports available and to encourage persons with disabilities to maintain a healthy lifestyle, our students got to try various modified sports, such as wheelchair basketball and sitting table tennis at the event. Another objective of the event is to foster greater inclusion among people with different abilities through sports. It was an inspiring day as our students learned that a disability should not stop someone from exercising and enjoying sports, because sports is one of the best ways to unite and bring people together from different walks of life.
