On 1 July 2017, Saturday, students and artists from Music Ensemble and Artist Development Programme (ADP) participated in the Official Opening of the LandArts@Bishan- Ang Mo Kio Park event. This is a three-day site-specific event that is part of this year's PAssionArts Festival. The event was opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and featured various art installations and performances scattered all over the park.
The Music Ensemble performed an amazing rendition of the traditional Japanese song 'Matsuri' by Kitaro to the public audience. Their performance was also joined by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and grassroot advisors, who played side by side with the students.
Singapore-themed artworks by artists from ADP were featured at the event for public viewing. Invited student artists, Muhammad Khairul, Jonathan Cai & Gavin James had the opportunity to interact with PM Lee and shared with him on their artworks.
Thank you, People's Association (PA) for inviting our students to participate in the event. It was a great experience for all of them!
