On 8 November 2016, our Secondary 1 students embarked on a science learning journey to Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum. The objective of the learning journey was to raise students’ awareness about biodiversity and its importance. Students learnt about the environmental issues associated with biodiversity and enjoyed viewing the huge collection of historical and research specimens that the museum has to offer. Overall, it was an educational and fun day for our students.
Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.
