Students from Pathlight Performing Arts took part in a Community Involvement Project at Ang Mo Kio Thye Hua Kwan Hospital on 19 November. The Performing Arts Group which comprises of Ukulele, Dance, Theatre, Choir and Ruan, took turns to put up performances for the patients at the hospital.
The patients enjoyed the items put up specially for them and it was a meaningful way for Pathlighters to conclude the academic year by blessing others with the skills they have learnt over the year!
Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.
