19 students from Secondary 3 level went on a learning journey to the Weather Forecast office situated at Changi Airport. The Learning Journey was part of the Geography syllabus which aimed to provide the opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of the weather and climate of Singapore.  During the outing, students had the opportunity to go on a tour of the forecast office and discovered more about the life of a weather forecaster and the environment. Students even tried their hands at drawing wind streamlines on a weather forecast chart under the guidance of a weather forecast officer. Through this visit, the students could see the wider application of the knowledge they learnt in Geography classes.
