Pathlight Student one of 18 NDP Tote Bag Designers

Pathlight Student one of 18 NDP Tote Bag Designers

This year’s National Day Parade (NDP) funpacks will for the first time feature designs by students from special education schools. 38 students from 18 schools showcased their artistic talents by designing the funpacks, which come in the form of tote bags this year. Among them is Pathlight's very own Cheong Cheng Jun. Inspired by his love for Singapore, his tote bag features some of our nation’s most iconic landmarks, including Changi Airport, Merlion, Marina Bay Sands and the Central Business District skyline. He uses the colour red for his red hearts and fireworks to reflect the celebratory mood as we commemorate our beloved nation’s birthday.

Thank you Cheng Jun for the gift of your design for National Day. We are very proud of you!
