Students from the Secondary 4 & 5 cohorts attended a 2-day 1-night camp themed, “Charting New Territories” which was organised to inculcate Life Readiness skills in them. Being the last camp which students will attend before graduating from Pathlight, they were able to put into practice many Daily Living Skills that they have learnt over their past 4-5 years in Pathlight Secondary School.
During the camp, students worked together in groups to plan a leisure excursion to Sentosa Island and learned how to work within a budget. Day 1 of the camp ended with fun games as students enjoyed a hearty barbeque. Students learned to keep their rooms tidy, and even prepared a sumptuous breakfast with their group mates and teachers!
Day 2 saw the students overcoming their fears as they participated in the Dragon boat activity. They not only learned teamwork but also enjoyed themselves. All the educators were very proud of the achievements by the students. Well done Pathlighters!
