2018’s Racial Harmony Day celebration was all about instilling the importance of racial harmony in Singapore. Our students from various tracks celebrated the occasions through class-based activities, sampling of traditional food, as well as exciting traditional games and hands-on activities. Students were also encouraged to come dressed in traditional costumes of Singapore’s various ethnic groups. Through these, they learnt to embrace the uniqueness of the different cultures, as well as to respect and celebrate diversity. The celebration truly reinforced the importance of maintaining the beauty and harmony that characterise the island we call home.
