This year’s graduating students gained some exposure to the aerospace industry through a visit to Safran Landing Systems, the world’s largest manufacturer of aircraft landing gear. The visit started off with an informative presentation on Safran Landing Systems and the aerospace industry. Our students then participated in a quiz, where they won various prizes. A plant tour around the factory followed, where they learned about the various equipment and its purposes, functions of landing gears, the physics of flying, as well as overhaul and repairs of aircraft.

 With this tour, our graduating students were exposed to one more industry to consider venturing in!
