Pathlight’s very own Mohamad IIhan Bin Rossli was invited to conduct a talk at the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) themed “Artist and Citizenship”. The event, held at The National Gallery of Singapore on 21 July 2018 drew a crowd of both tourists and local audiences.
IIhan showed his painting of small turtles climbing on top of a lion-turtle hybrid and explained the symbolism behind it. The turtles symbolise different nationalities in Singapore coming together to create the lion-turtle hybrid that we all call home. After the talk, IIhan had fun teaching his audience to create their own hybrid creature.
Good job Ilhan! We are so proud of you!
