Our Secondary School and Vocational Track students were invited to the VIP opening of SJ50, a celebration of 50 years of Singapore-Japan Diplomatic Relations & Inclusiveness at Paragon Shopping Mall on 21 October 2016. They were treated to a live calligraphy performance and exhibition, titled "A Stroke of Genius" by Miss Shoko Kanazawa, a cerebrated calligrapher with Down syndrome from Japan and a piano recital, titled "The Sound of Silence" by Mr Azariah Tan, an award-winning concert pianist with bilateral hearing loss from Singapore.
It was a truly inspirational experience for our students to see these two celebrated artistes in action and to witness the possibilities that the differently abled can achieve!
