Pathlighters from the graduating classes of Secondary School went on their Overseas Learning Trip tp Australia, Melbourne from 19 to 24 November 2015.
The objectives of this overseas experiential learning trip are to provide students with opportunities to:
- Gain exposure to different cultures
- Put into practice daily living skills
- Experience team-bonding and have fun after working hard for their exams
This overseas learning trip is one of many programmes under Project One by Pathlight that is aimed at developing students holistically in the following 5 areas:
Moral • Cognition • Physical • Social Emotional • Aesthetics
The students stayed in Kangaroobie Camp to experience the outback, learn about aboriginal culture and participate in outdoor team-building activities. After which, they proceeded to Melbourne City for 2 days to experience the western culture.
