Students from Vocational Track Picasso Class concluded their year-long Community Involvement Project - Care for Elders at Sunlove Home with a visit to Sunlove Home on 18 November 2015. Tied in with the Daily Living Skills curriculum, students brainstormed on items to include in care packages and went on learning journeys to purchase the items. Other than putting up performances for the residents, students also distributed the care packages which they have put together.
It was a meaningful learning experience for students as they learnt about contributing to others. The interaction with residents of Sunlove Home also left deep impression on the students. The Care for Elders project was also awarded Silver Award at Shop For Your School Competition organised by Singapore Press Holding Foundations. Great Job Pathlighters!
