Our students from Performing Arts and Youth Choir performed at the Light It Up Blue! Roadshow outside ION Orchard on 4 April 2014. This was part of the World Autism Awareness Week celebration which started with the light-up of various iconic buildings in Singapore such as the Singapore Flyer and St. Andrew's Cathedral.
The Pathlight Performing Arts students took part in the Flash Mob with Eden School students to the song of Do Re Mi from The Sound Of Music. They also put up an energetic dance to the song of 'Shake Your Tail Feather' which got the crowds up on their feet.
Our Pathlight Youth Choir also put up a rousing rendition of "Singapore Town". Fellow Pathlighters, current students and alumni were also present to show their support for their friends and the cause. The roadshow ended with a blast with ION Orchard lighting up in blue. Despite the rain, the students enjoyed themselves and it was an experience which allowed them to showcase their talents and also contribute back to the community!
