As part of the Values in Action (VIA) programme, Pathlight's four graduating classes joined students from our Satellite partner Chong Boon Secondary School in a newspaper collection drive on 29 March 2014.

This project had a dual purpose of inculcating values in students to be socially responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to the community, as well as enable social integration with their mainstream peers.

Students from both schools went from door to door to request for newspapers and old clothes from Teck Ghee Community residents. They did an excellent job! Not only did they contribute back to the community, they also had the opportunity to forge new friendships with their peers from Chong Boon Secondary School!
