Overseas Cultural and Immersion Camp

On 28 & 29 August 2017, students from Vocational Track attended an Overseas and Cultural Immersion Camp, which included a day trip to Batam, Indonesia and an overnight stay at the Boys’ Brigade Campsite in Sembawang. The camp is part of Pathlight’s Project One initiative: a school-wide project aimed at developing students holistically in the Moral, Cognitive, Physical, Social-Emotional and Aesthetic areas.

Students had the opportunity to experience a different culture in Batam through taking part in various cultural and traditional activities such as making Kueh Lapis and learning the Joget Aceh dance. They also enjoyed a great workout through low-elements and team-bonding games at the Sembawang campsite. Overall, the camp was not only a fun, enriching and memorable experience for the students, it also strengthened the bond among them.
