SDSC 6th National Special Schools Swimming Championships 2015

6 Pathlighters from Vocational Track, Primary and Secondary School took part in the 6th National Special Schools Swimming Championships 2015 organised by the Singapore Disability Sports Council. Held annually, this competition serves as a good platform for students with special needs to develop their talent in swimming and also expose them to major competition settings.

 Congratulations to the following for winning medals in the various categories they competed in:

  1. Lim Kah Yi of Secondary 3 Nettle received 2 Gold awards for Backstroke and Butterfly events and 1 Silver award for the Freestyle event.
  2. Charlize Lim of Primary 2 Delonix received a Gold award for the breaststroke event.
  3. Wilvan Chua of Secondary 2 Azara received a Bronze award for the freestyle event.

Congratulations also to the other 3 students who participated in the swimming competition. The true value of participating in competitions is not about winning, but about challenging yourselves to do the best that you can! Congratulations to all for doing your best and having fun in the process!
